Delivery Driver - currently hiring!
To qualify, you MUST:
* Own a reliable pick-up truck or SUV with a tow hitch
* Have a cell phone
* Be familiar with the Nashville metro and be able to read a map. GPS is a plus!
* Be physically fit, and have the strength to move 200-500 pounds on a hand truck
* Show a good driving record, proof of insurance and a valid drivers license
* Preferably reside in or near Gallatin
We are looking for drivers who:
* Have friendly interpersonal skills
* Have a clean, professional appearance
* Have the ability to follow and keep to a set delivery schedule
* Have strong communication and problem solving skills
* Make good decisions when working independently
* Can balance customer's needs and company's needs
* Can handle pressure and difficult customers while maintaining professionalism and respect
Our drivers are the face of our company, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customer's expectations are exceeded. Responsibilities include loading, delivering, setting up, cleaning, taking down, and returning equipment to and from We Got Bounce. Our drivers are responsible for ensuring that all safety and operating instructions for the equipment is fully reviewed with the customer. Deliveries are made to backyard parties, schools, churches, and businesses, and also to carnivals, festivals, and other large events. Average set-ups take approximately 10-20 minutes, and take-downs take approximately 20-30 minutes.
Pay: From $30 per inflatable and up, depending on the size and weight of the inflatable. Spring and summer is BIG MONEY! Our drivers through the fall and winter months will have seniority once our busy season hits. It is not uncommon for our drivers to make $500 per weekend during our busy season.
Hours: Most of our deliveries are on weekends between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Deliveries during the week can usually be scheduled around school or other work schedules.
Our busy season is April through October. Most deliveries are on the weekends, with a few deliveries during the week. In the summer months of June through August, we usually have as many rentals during the week as we have on weekends, so flexibility during the week is a plus. Training is available. We will teach you everything you need to know about our equipment, safety, and proper set up and take down procedures and techniques.
